The “LabTek” experimental test stand Waste-spark Ignition System Trainer is a training board used to teach the waste-spark electronic ignition system that is usually installed on some four-stroke cycle internal combustion engines. The distributor less trainer is mounted with OEM components. Requires a 12VDC power supply to operate.
A spark-ignition engine (SI engine) is an internal combustion engine, generally a petrol engine, where the combustion process of the air-fuel mixture is ignited by a spark from a spark plug. This is in contrast to compression-ignition engines, typically diesel engines, where the heat generated from compression together with the injection of fuel is enough to initiate the combustion process, without needing any external spark.
FEATURES:
Ability to visualize the operation of a direct ignition system using coil-on-plug ignition technology
Ability to test and verify a basic ignition circuit without distributor
Four operational faults can be inserted to promote student diagnostic troubleshooting competencies
Includes wiring schematics.
Easily describe all of the components of the system that have been mounted together on a board.
Actively troubleshoot faults that have been intentionally introduced in the connections.
Educate about the whole wiring system by disassembling and assembling the various parts.
Effortlessly use and display this model because of its compact and inclusive design
SPECIFICATION:
Crankshaft position (CKP) sensor with gap adjustment
